Connecticut residents save lives at annual blood drive for sickle cell disease and childhood cancer

Hartford Healthcare and the Connecticut Blood Center hosted their annual blood drive for sickle cell disease and childhood cancer. It comes as organizers say donations are down. Staff say they’re hoping community members will step up to save lives.
