Blumenthal ‘shocked and deeply saddened’ by sudden death of Senate colleague Lindsey Graham

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal said he was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the death if U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died suddenly over the weekend at age 71.

Despite being on opposite sides of the aisle, Blumenthal said the South Carolina Republican had always listened to him and others with opposing views and sought ways to bridge their differences.
